As we approach the spring season, your neighborhood real estate experts want to remind you to spring your clocks forward on March 8th and give your home a much needed spring cleaning.
WASH YOUR WINDOWS.
Be sure to pick a cloudy day to wash windows. If the day is too sunny, your window solution will dry too fast leaving streaks.
SCRUB DOWN OVERLOOKED SURFACES.
You may overlook these surfaces on a daily basis, but once a year, give your baseboards, door frames, and walls a good scrub.
DUST LIGHT FIXTURES.
Use a microfiber or lint-free cloth to dust fixtures and bulbs you can reach. For ceiling fans, skip the ladder and use an extendable duster. To clean grimy bulbs, lightly dampen your cloth with vinegar.

Have you ever been curious about investing in real estate? If you did not attend our investing seminar on Saturday, February 22nd, you truly missed some valuable tips to get you started in building wealth through real estate. Travis Lee and Martin Weldon, two of our expert agents and productivity coaches, discussed the risks and benefits of real estate investing in order to determine how and when to invest in resources that will produce financial security.
One thing you should note from the presentation is that real estate investing is not a “get rich quick scheme", instead it’s about getting the best possible return for your money. This can include purchasing homes to use as rental properties or purchasing with the intent to renovate the home for resale. One key component in the process is having your own team of experts prior to investing. Your team should consist of a real estate agent, lender, inspector, stager, contractor, and property management team. ...

On Wednesday, February 5th, MG Residential had the privilege of attending the 2nd Annual Keller Williams Capital Properties (KWCP) Agent Excellence Awards. With many agents, teams, and groups in the midst, the ceremony was a way for KWCP leadership to celebrate the growth and accomplishments of all agents for the 2019 year.
We are proud to announce that MG Residential was recognized as a runner up for closing the most units in 2019. Last year we had the honor of helping 193 individuals and families to achieve their real estate goals. As a result, we closed over $88.2 million in sales volume. It is a privilege to be able to share our gifts with our community and neighbors to help others achieve the goal of homeownership. It is our mission to transform lives, careers, and communities through real estate and we strive to fulfill that daily.
If you or anyone that you know needs assistance with buying, selling, or investing in real estate, we would be honored to help. ...

This past Saturday, we had the privilege of hosting our first seminar of 2020. One of our elite buyer specialists, Daniel Walcott, alongside Brian Washington of PrimeLending and Katie Griffin of KVS Title, facilitated an awesome event that left our guests more knowledgeable and comfortable with the home buying process.
Did you know that it is possible to be classified as a first time home buyer even if this isn’t your first home purchase? Did you know that you only need a 580 credit score to be eligible to purchase a home? These questions, amongst others, were some of the questions that were discussed in addition to available home buying programs and mistakes to avoid in the process.
If you were not able to make our event and you wish to speak with an agent about the home buying process, please feel free to give us a call at 202-750-8000.
Our next event is our Semi-Annual Clothing Swap of maternity, infant, and children’s clothing. This event will ...
